Our Operations Team Operates at a Higher Level

I wanted to thank your team for providing outstanding service while I was onsite… Your group has never failed to accommodate our needs and I’m always impressed with the level of service they provide to us. In the stressful situation I was in, I really felt like your team understood the importance of my onsite visit and made me feel like it was important to them. Your group always does their best to make sure we’re taken care of, and that is most appreciated.

– SecureData 365 Client

SecureData 365 realizes that an organization’s data center needs to go beyond world-class facilities. Beyond a place to host your servers and backups and more than a reliably always-up facility… customer service counts too!

That’s why we’re proud to have a seasoned operations team that operate as “remote hands” as well as your eyes and ears to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Led by Tony Hunter, most of the SecureData 365 operations team have been with the company for five years. Our growth has led to the recent hiring of Gwen Finton and Logan List.

Each and every member of the team knows the ins and outs of both data centers as well as the intricacies of the co-location business, making them uniquely adept at both fulfilling and anticipating client needs.

Going the extra mile and providing better service and value is the way we do business – including with our operations team.

SecureData 365 Makes the Weatherhead 100… Again

SecureData 365 is honored to announce that for an astounding fourth year in a row we’ve been recognized by Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management for our growth.

Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead 100 award was established thirty years ago to recognize excellence and entrepreneurship and has been seen as a prestigious award ever since for businesses across all industries.

We’re Upping Our SSAE 16 Game

Once again both locations of SecureData 365 have passed an SSAE 16 audit of its systems, processes, and facilities. This third party audit endorses SecureData 365 as safe and secure data centers, providing a high level of service, and controls.

Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16) is considered the “gold standard” for data centers. Instituted by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in January 2010, SSAE 16 was drafted with the intention and purpose of updating the US service organization reporting standard so that it mirrors and complies with the new international service organization reporting standard.

SecureData 365 management developed control objectives for the significant areas of internal control that support our services. The control objectives addressed each of the following areas:

  • Logical Access and Security
  • Physical Access
  • Environmental Controls
  • Infrastructure Change Management
  • Data Backup
  • Problem Management

This year the SecureData 365 data center audits went from SOC 1 to SOC 2 which is a more detailed and in-depth audit. A SOC 2 report includes a detailed description of the service auditor’s test of controls and results.
